Fabric first: CFD for passive environmental design

 October 12, 2022

 9:00 am ET / 3:00 pm CEST

The thermal performance of building fabric has a significant impact on the energy and comfort performance of buildings and structures. SimScale enables architects and engineers to model the impact of heat transfer and thermal bridging on their building designs using cloud-native computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation.

Designers can benefit from fast and accurate heat and energy loss predictions, as well as the ability to visualize heat conduction through the building envelope, akin to those generated by thermal infrared photography. Join our live, short demonstration to learn how to use these new modeling features within SimScale.

Expert instructors will guide attendees in an interactive environment that allows for discussion and Q&A.

About SimScale

SimScale is the world’s first cloud-native SaaS engineering simulation platform, giving engineers and designers immediate access to digital prototyping early in the design stage, throughout the entire R&D cycle, and across the entire enterprise. By providing instant access to a single fluid, thermal, and structural simulation tool built on the latest cloud computing technology, SimScale has moved high-fidelity physics simulation technology from a complex and cost-prohibitive desktop application to a user-friendly web application, accessible to any designer and engineer in the world.

Material nature have an energetic basis
All manifestations of material nature have an energetic basis. The energy field is primary, all other physical manifestations are secondary.
The unity of soul and mind is the path to happiness
The unity of soul and mind is so rare that it can literally be sold profitably. All masterpieces of culture and art are the essence of unity.
Learned patterns of behavior that harm us in some way
Learned patterns of behavior are supposed to simplify our lives because they allow us not to learn the same thing over and over again.
