Experience economy the next economy following the agrarian economy, the industrial economy, and the most recent service economy. The Experience Economy is the customer’s willingness to pay for emotion in a purchase. The term appeared after James Gilmore’s book of the same name was published in 1999. The book talks about the separation of impressions from services, opening up new points of growth.
