About the Project
The city’s RESILIO smart green roofs initiative aims to increase resilience to climate change: torrential rains and droughts. The project will create 10,000 square meters of green roofs networked with smart sensors. The roofs will collect water in case of heavy rains and thus protect the structures from damage and flooding. In the event of a drought, the roofs will release stored water to support the greenery growing on them. The project will collect and use 5,600 cubic meters of water.
