New energy rating to push more buildings to go green

Project

The Singapore government is introducing a new energy efficiency rating aimed at modernizing existing buildings and constructing new ones. which aims to retrofit existing buildings and construct new energy-efficient buildings that consume 60% less energy than compared to existing standards.

According to the new Green Mark energy efficiency rating, buildings can use no more than 100 kWh per m2 per year.
