The Smart City Wallonia congress and fair are aimed at Walloon representatives and public actors.

Congress will tackle the implementation of “Smart City” projects at the scale of the Walloon territory taking into account its specificities, made up of both large cities and smaller municipalities.

During a whole day, scientific/public/private experts will provide answers to the questions of the territorial managers on the basis of practical cases:

  • What interests my town to become a Smart City?
  • Where to start?
  • Who are the interlocutors of the municipalities and what are the services offered?
  • What are the different funding models available to municipalities?

The program will consist of plenary sessions and sessions on more targeted themes while addressing examples of achievements in different municipalities.

The fair will allow companies to present their products and services throughout the day, in addition to “networking” breaks.
