View Inc., a leader in the smart windows market, announced its smart windows will be installed in the new 350,000-square-foot expansion of Terminal 5 at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
This solution is part of the $8.5 billion O’Hare 21 program aimed at modernizing the airport.

The View Smart Windows control system uses artificial intelligence to optimize the level of natural light in the terminal to create the most comfortable environment for passengers. In addition, the smart windows reduce energy consumption by reducing the terminal’s cooling needs.
